Macey Thigpen, Junior Miss Heart of Autauga County and Georgia Sheridan, Junior Miss Heart of Prattville participate in "Think Pink Day" on Friday October 16th for the city of Prattville. Citizens and dignitaries gathered at the city fountain to turn it pink and release pink balloons. The balloons were to honor breast cancer survivors and to remember loved ones lost to breast cancer. The event was sponsored to raise awareness for Breast Cancer and to raise funds for the "Joy to Life" Foundation. "Joy to Life" pays for women all throughout Alabama who are medically underserved or uninsured to receive free mammograms.

Macey and Georgia are pictured with 1) Joy Blondheim, breast cancer survivor and founder of "Joy to Life" 2) Prattville Mayor Jim Byard and 3) State Representative Mac Gipson.
